A class consists of a unit's loadout and defines its role in the battlefront. Star Wars Battlefront III has the following classes:
All classes are immediately available and do not require star points to unlock. The medals system from the previous game is replaced with a five level system. Acquiring star points while using a class will level up that class, giving it various upgrades. These upgrades last for the duration of the match.
