Small town America, white picket fences and all, lovingly re-created in the middle of the desert for the purposes of being atomised in the name of getting one over on the other guy. Complete with quaint wooden housing, reinforced bunkers, balsa wood silhouettes of townsfolk and glowing craters. 50's “Populuxe” architecture mixed with utilitarian military structures in the middle of a desert.
